An Effingham County woman is suing Effingham Hospital, three physicians and a number of affiliated medical groups alleging that a series of failures over nearly a year transformed what began as a treatable inflammatory bowel disease into a catastrophic medical tragedy that left a wife and mother of two permanently disabled.
