Ashlyn Griffin Trial: Jury Returns a Verdict

After four days of service which included two and a half days of presentation and five hours of deliberation, the jury in the case of Ashlyn Griffin reached a verdict.. Jurors considered charges of Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault against Griffin in relation to the death of Brandon McCray in June 2020. Along with those charges were the ‘lesser included offenses’ of Voluntary Manslaughter, Involuntary Manslaughter, and Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony.
