Arrest Made in Connection to Telfair Arson Investigation

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced the arrest of Cassius Aijalon Livingston, 28, of Milan, in connection with an ongoing arson investigation in Telfair County. The arrest follows an investigation into a fire at the Thunderbird Oil Company on February 3, 2025 around 9:00 p.m.

Upon examination, investigators noted that the damage was concentrated near the front window of the structure. The cause of fire was later classified as incendiary after an area of origin was determined and surveillance footage was obtained by investigators. The fire caused significant destruction to the business.
