Statesboro Downtown Live Returns Next Week with “We Got The Beat”

The City of Statesboro’s Downtown Live concert series returns next week with “We Got The Beat.” The 2025 series runs from spring through summer with a total of six concerts taking place on select Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. The free concerts are held on East Main Street in front of the Bulloch County Courthouse and are open to the public.

Last week’s Downtown Live concert with “Liquid Pleasure” was cancelled due to inclement weather, but organizers say the rescheduled date for Liquid Pleasure’s return is August 21st.

The Downtown Live concert series will host two concerts this month. First up is We Got The Beat on June 12, with a long repertoire of music to perform, including songs from the 80s, 90s and 2000s. They’ll have everyone tapping their feet to the beat!

The last show of the month will feature 90’s Kids Superfly Tribute Band on June 26. Covering genres from pop, dance, grunge and a touch of hip-hop, 90s Kids Superfly Tribute goes beyond just playing music—they bring the decade to life. With vibrant costumes, nostalgic props, and high-energy performances, every show is a full-on 90s experience. Audience interaction is at the heart of it all, making each event an unforgettable trip down memory lane.
