The House Study Committee on Improving Access to Internal Medicine in Underserved Areas, chaired by State Representative Sandy Donatucci (R-Buford), will hold its first meeting on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.

Created by House Resolution 753, this study committee will evaluate the most prudent and cost-effective ways to increase access to internal medicine in underserved Georgia communities, with particular focus on those underserved communities experiencing health transportation shortages.
