Georgia Southern Athletics and Learfield’s Georgia Southern Sports Properties announced today a significant new multi-year partnership with Atlantic Waste Services (AWS), naming the locally-owned business the Official Waste Management Partner of the Eagles.

The partnership, centered around premium TV-visible apron logos on the sidelines of Allen E. Paulson Stadium/Evans Family Field, creates premium brand visibility and an authentic connection between Georgia Southern fans and the highly-respected local business servicing Statesboro and surrounding areas.

“Georgia Southern Athletics is proud to welcome Atlantic Waste Services as the Official Waste Management Partner of the Eagles,” said Georgia Southern Director of Athletics Chris Davis. “As a locally owned company with deep roots locally, AWS shares our commitment to being a strong community partner and making a positive impact across coastal Georgia. We look forward to building a successful partnership together.”

On top of the exceptional brand visibility received from on-field apron logos, AWS has also committed to naming rights entitlement of the Atlantic Waste Services Club, the club level section inside Paulson Stadium.

Atlantic Waste Services branding will appear on digital signage across all Georgia Southern Athletics venues, while brand messaging will be incorporated into all radio broadcasts of Eagle sporting events and coaches shows.

Additionally, AWS will leverage intellectual property rights to Georgia Southern logos and marks for brand marketing materials and purposes statewide.

“As a locally owned company rooted in Southeast Georgia, Atlantic Waste Services is honored to partner with Georgia Southern Athletics,” said President/CEO Ben Wall Jr. “Our organization has always believed in investing in the communities where we live and work, and supporting the Eagle community is a natural extension of that commitment. We are excited about the opportunity to connect with passionate Georgia Southern fans while continuing to build a stronger future for our region.”

“Georgia Southern University has played an important role in my own journey, both professionally and personally, and it is exciting to be able to support the next generation of Eagle student-athletes through this partnership,” said Vice President Brad Bowman. “Atlantic Waste Services is built on relationships, community involvement, and delivering dependable service every day. We are proud to align our organization with a university and athletics program that shares those same values of hard work, excellence, and commitment to the communities we serve.”

Established in 1999 and operating locally out of Statesboro and Pooler, Atlantic Waste Services delivers waste and recycling solutions for the people, businesses and communities of coastal Georgia with a commitment to reliable service, environmental responsibility and customer satisfaction.

“Atlantic Waste provides a quality and essential service across a significant portion of the Eagle Nation footprint,” said Cam Brown, General Manager of Georgia Southern Sports Properties. “We’re thrilled to welcome them to the Georgia Southern family and look forward to connecting a well-respected, local family business to the Eagle fanbase.”
Georgia Southern Sports Properties, the locally based team of Learfield – the leading media and technology company powering college athletics – is the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Georgia Southern Athletics and oversees all sponsorship agreements on behalf of the Eagles.
