GBI Arrests Owner of East Georgia Marketing Company on Fraud Charges

The GBI has arrested and charged Madison Layton Hollimon, age 30, of Lincolnton, GA, with Financial Transaction Card Fraud.

On July 28, 2026, the Lincolnton Police Department requested the GBI to investigate an allegation of fraud. Preliminary information indicates that Hollimon, the owner of Mad Marketing LLC, in Evans, GA, made several fraudulent transactions on the credit card of one of her clients. Other Mad Marketing clients have also come forward with allegations of fraud.

Hollimon turned herself in on September 30, 2026, and was booked into the Columbia County Jail.

The investigation is active and ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the GBI Regional Investigative Office in Thomson at 706-595-2575. Once the investigation is complete, the case file will be given to the Columbia Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
