The woman facing 51 felony counts for fraudulently obtaining controlled substances is asking for a bond.
33-year-old Logaan Hailey Woods of Statesboro was arrested by the Statesboro Police Department on September 23 on charges stemming from allegations of forged prescriptions from a Statesboro doctor’s office.
Warrants
According to warrants, Woods fraudulently used the prescribing credentials of a doctor at Clark Medical Group in Statesboro to obtain a prescription for a controlled substance seventeen times between May 8, 2026 and September 16, 2026. Woods was subsequently charged with seventeen counts of Computer Forgery for the same acts because she altered computer data for the electronic prescription without the doctor’s authority.
The Statesboro Police Department also charged Woods with seventeen counts of Obtaining a Controlled Substance by Fraudulent Means.
The warrants were taken on September 23 and Woods was arrested the same day.
Bond Hearing
Woods has been in the Bulloch County Jail since her arrest on September 23. On October 6, an attorney for Woods asked for a bond hearing, which has been scheduled before Judge Michael Muldrew. Woods is represented by the Ogeechee Circuit Public Defender’s Office.
Prior History
In October 2025, Woods was arrested by the Statesboro Police Department for Misdemeanor Theft by Taking for stealing an Apple iPhone and Apple AirPods from an employee at Lowe’s. She was sentenced to serve 12 months probation, completed 40 hours of community service, pay a $780 fine, pay restitution in the amount of $672.33 to the victim, and she was banished from Lowe’s. The charge was set to be dismissed upon her completion of the sentencing terms, but her arrest prompted a probation revocation.
SHe was also cited by the Statesboro Police Department on September 16, 2026 for misdemeanor Theft by Taking, but the terms of that case are not listed on the citation. Woods pleaded guilty to that charge and was sentenced concurrently with the October 2025 case.
