Incident Report
- CRIMINAL TRESPASS16-7-21
On 03/11/2026, I responded to the Empire State Tattoo shop located on State Route 67. I met with the complainant, identified as Mr. James Thomas. Mr. Thomas advised that a female, identified as Ms. Sherrie Barnes, had begun cursing and scaring a client inside the shop. Ms. Barnes and Mr. Thomas have been in an on-and-off relationship for approximately six years. Mr. Thomas did not want Ms. Barnes at his place of work and did not want her to cause issues. Mr. Thomas also informed me he didn’t want her at his house anymore. I retrieved the contact information for Ms. Barnes. Ms. Barnes was notified via phone that she would be criminally trespassed from the tattoo shop, along with Mr. Thomas’s apartment located at 116 Pamela Way Apt A. I later spoke with Mr. Thomas about how Ms. Barnes continued to reach out to him via false numbers. Mr. Thomas wanted her to stop reaching out to him. I advised him to send a message to Ms. Barnes to stop contacting him or criminal charges could be filed. I contacted Ms. Barnes and advised her to discontinue contact with Mr. Thomas. A trespass warning was issued, and a report was filed for documentation. No further.
