On March 30th, 2026, at approximately 9:10pm, I responded to 789 Kendricks Road in reference to a suspicious incident involving three males on the property. Upon arrival, I made contact with Linda Nasworthy, Gerald Simpson, and Deborah Luster at the residence. Luster provided the following account: Tonight, she went outside to feed the cats when she saw three people with flashlights in the next-door neighbor's yard. She asked who they were and shined her flashlight on them, but they did not respond. Luster then walked to the horse stall to check the water and give the horses a treat. When she came back out, she looked to her left and saw three people standing next to the cars on the property. She again asked who they were and stated she was not an illegal alien, that she was an American citizen, believing that they were ICE agents. One of the males pulled up a rifle and pointed it directly at her. The three males did not say a word to her during this encounter, though Luster heard one of them mention something about the sheriff. Luster described the male who pointed the rifle as white, of average build, and appearing to be in his fifties or sixties. She could not determine the race of the other two males due to the darkness. She stated all three males had flashlights. She mentioned seeing what might have been a large, early model white car pulled into the yard near where the males were standing. Luster also stated a similar incident occured one or two days prior that also involved three males. Deputies conducted a search of the property at the request of the owners and found no suspects or evidence of their presence at that time. I also checked the area Luster indicated a car was located. There was no indication that a car was parked or had recently been driven in the area. Nasworthy and Simpson did not report seeing the individuals and stated they were just informed of the incident by Luster. Nasworthy, the property owner, requested a thorough report for insurance purposes, and that the following be documented: Nasworthy stated that the next door neighbor recently purchased the property after the previous owner either passed away or sold the property. Nasworthy mentioned a black pointer dog that Luster had been feeding disappeared, and she suspected the neighbor may have taken the dog, as he had previously mentioned to Luster that it was a valuable hunting dog. Nasworthy also reported recent incidents including horses getting out regularly, four lug nuts removed from her lawn mower (case number 2026-03-06508), and gas possibly stolen from Simpson's yellow lawn tractor approximately two weeks ago. Due to conflicting information and lack of evidence a report was completed for documentation purposes. I acknowledge this report was generated using Draft One by Axon. I further acknowledge that I have reviewed the report in detail, made any necessary edits, and believe it to be an accurate representation of my recollection of the reported events. If needed, I am willing to testify to the accuracy of this report.
