Bulloch County Commissioners are warning against a possible scam.
County Communications Director Dal Cannady said Thursday that a commissioner was informed of a woman knocking on doors, asserting to be from Bulloch County. She reportedly shared with homeowners that she needed to obtain a sample of their well water for testing.

Cannady said neither Bulloch nor Bryan County are conducting door-to-door water testing.
If someone shows up at a home claiming to be a county employee or a contractor, contact the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office.
In the event that the county did need to conduct site inspections, for any reasons, the inspections would be well publicized and property owners would be informed in advance.
