The City of Statesboro will host its next-to-last Downtown Live concert this Thursday, June 26. The 2025 series kicked off in April with a total of six concerts taking place on select Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. The free concerts are held on East Main Street in front of the Bulloch County Courthouse and are open to the public.
This Thursday’s concert will feature 90’s Kids Superfly Tribute Band. Covering genres from pop, dance, grunge and a touch of hip-hop, 90’s Kids Superfly Tribute goes beyond just playing music—they bring the decade to life. With vibrant costumes, nostalgic props, and high-energy performances, every show is a full-on 90s experience. Audience interaction is at the heart of it all, making each event an unforgettable trip down memory lane.
The series will wrap on August 21 with “Liquid Pleasure.” The band was set to perform on May 29, but was postponed due to inclement weather. Returning to the Downtown Live stage for the third year in a row, Liquid Pleasure brings crowd-pleasing covers of modern groups like The Black Eyed Peas and Outkast to Motown staples like The Temptations and The Supremes.
Grab your dancing shoes and lawn chair and join the fun in Downtown Statesboro for the last concert of the season. Admission to the concert is free and open to the public. Food trucks and beverage vendors open at 6:00 p.m. on the day of the event, with several downtown restaurants also within walking distance of the concert stage. Downtown Live is a family-friendly event for all ages.
