Henry County, GA (October 2, 2025) — A weeklong operation targeting the commercial sex trade in Henry County led to the arrests of five men — including a teacher and a U.S. Customs agent — on charges of pandering, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).
The operation, conducted September 25 by the GBI’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) Unit and the Henry County Police Department, was part of an ongoing effort to reduce demand and provide support for victims of exploitation.
Those arrested were:
- Scout Bigger, 25, of Woodstock, GA, bartender
- Isaac Irizarry, 26, of Lawrenceville, GA, jailer with the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office
- De’Montae Martin, 26, of Gainesville, GA, occupation unknown
- Darroyln Simmons, 55, of Locust Grove, GA, U.S. Customs agent
- Kerry Vanderford, 55, of Hampton, GA, teacher at Luella High School
All five were booked into the Henry County Jail and have since bonded out.
In addition to the arrests, authorities said one woman was safely recovered and provided with immediate assistance and access to services to ensure her safety.
