McNeal, Akins Qualify for Re-Election

The Clerk of Superior Court and the Tax Commissioner are the first two Republicans to qualify for office this election cycle.

First thing Monday morning, Heather Banks McNeal qualified to seek another term as the Bulloch County Clerk of Superior Court and Leslie Deal Akins qualified for another term as Tax Commissioner.

McNeal was elected in 2014. Akins was elected in 2020.

Qualifying runs through Friday, March 8 at 12:00 p.m.

The last day to register to vote in the primary election is April 22, 2024.
Early voting for the Primary Election begins April 29.
Election Day is May 21, 2024.
