An anonymous tip prompted the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Team (CST) to investigate a Johnson Street residence within the Statesboro city limits, resulting in two arrests and the seizure of a significant quantity of illegal drugs.
On July 10, CST investigators—assisted by K9 deputies and the Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team (SERT)—served a search warrant at the home. Law enforcement recovered:
- A trafficking amount of fentanyl tablets mixed with bath salts
- A trafficking amount of cocaine
- A large quantity of marijuana
- Drug-related paraphernalia
- A dog in extremely poor health, which was immediately transferred to Bulloch County Animal Control
Following the search, Dryan Markel Bartley and Marqueles Damon Dennis, both of Statesboro, were taken into custody and transported to the Bulloch County Jail.
