On Tuesday, July 15, 2025 a runoff for the June 17, 2025 special election was held. This race was for the Democratic primary election only. Only voters who cast a ballot in the Democratic primary and voters who did not case a ballot at all on June 17 were permitted to vote. Crossover voting, or votes by those who voted in the Republican primary in June, were not eligible to vote in this election.
The Bulloch County Board of Elections will certify the election results next week, at which point the results will become final.
