Two of three Bulloch County Schools saw a decline in graduation rate in 2025 over 2024 as the district score dropped overall.
The release of data comes as the Georgia Department of Education reported that Georgia high school seniors recorded an “all-time high graduation rate.”
How Georgia calculates its graduation rate
Georgia calculates a four-year adjusted cohort graduation rate as required by federal law. This rate is:
- The number of students who graduate in four years with a regular high school diploma, divided by
- The number of students who form the adjusted cohort for the graduation class.
134 Georgia school districts recorded graduation rates at or above 90% and sixty recorded rates at or above 95%. Georgia’s statewide graduation rate has increased by 19.8 percentage points since 2011.
Bulloch’s overall school system score remains slightly higher than the state average of 87.2%.
