This is a press release from the City of Statesboro.

The City of Statesboro is excited to announce the return of its Annual Downtown Live Concert Series for a fourth consecutive year. Downtown Live will run from April through June, featuring six concerts on select Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. The concerts will be held on East Main Street in front of the Bulloch County Courthouse and are open to the public.

The 4th Annual Downtown Live Concert Series will bring six incredible nights of music to Historic Downtown Statesboro this spring and summer, continuing a tradition of live entertainment in the heart of the city.

Downtown Live will kick off on Thursday, April 9, with Liquid Pleasure, returning for their fourth Downtown Live Concert Series. Known for high-energy performances spanning decades of music, Liquid Pleasure delivers everything from Motown classics to modern hits, keeping crowds dancing and singing along all night long.

On April 30, 70’s Kids will bring the ultimate 1970s throwback experience to Downtown Statesboro for the first time in the concert series. Featuring disco, yacht rock, and iconic hits from the era, the band recreates the sights and sounds of the 70s with vibrant performances that invite everyone to groove under the downtown lights.

The series continues on May 14 with the Statesboro debut of Elizabeth as Taylor, an era-spanning Taylor Swift tribute show packed with recognizable looks, chart-topping hits, and enthusiastic sing-along moments. This high-energy performance promises a memorable night for fans of all ages.

On May 28, Y2K-Kids will transport audiences back to the 2000s with a dynamic performance featuring pop, rock, hip-hop, and R&B favorites from the decade. With crowd participation and nonstop nostalgia, the show delivers the ultimate early-2000s throwback party. The music may be familiar to many, but Y2K-Kids will be joining the Downtown Live Concert Series lineup for the first time.

June will feature the final two concerts of the season. On June 11, The Tams will return to Downtown Statesboro with their legendary blend of beach music and classic soul. From “Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy” to other timeless favorites, The Tams continue to bring generations together on the dance floor.

The series will conclude on June 25 with another Downtown Live Concert Series veteran, Papa Sol. Known for their electrifying mix of pop, soul, funk, reggae, beach music, and rock & roll, Papa Sol delivers a high-energy performance with three lead vocalists, creating a rich, full sound that keeps audiences engaged from start to finish.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to grab their dancing shoes and lawn chairs and join the fun in Downtown Statesboro this spring and summer. Admission to the concerts is open to the public. Food trucks will open at 6:00 p.m. on the day of each event, with several downtown restaurants also within walking distance of the concert stage.
