Georgia voters delivered a mix of expected outcomes and regional surprises in the June 16 Runoff Election.
Locally, only one race was on the ballot for the Republican primary runoff and on the Democratic ballot, voters made a choice for their nominee for the 12th Congressional District.
From the governor’s race to down-ballot contests, Bulloch voters often favored the same candidates who performed well across Georgia, though the margins frequently revealed stronger margins than the state as a whole. In two statewide races, however, Bulloch County voters strayed far from the statewide trends.
