The Waynesboro Police Department is inviting residents to sit down for coffee and conversation with local law enforcement during a “Coffee with the Chief” event Thursday morning.
Huddle House Waynesboro is partnering with the department to host the event on Thursday, September 17, at 9 a.m. The gathering will feature Waynesboro Police Chief Willie J. Burley and other members of the department.
Organizers say the informal event will give residents an opportunity to ask questions, share concerns and get to know the officers who serve the Waynesboro community.
There is no formal agenda for the gathering, which is intended to provide an open and welcoming setting for conversations between residents and law enforcement.
Huddle House Waynesboro is located at 323 South Liberty Street in Waynesboro.
