Fundraiser Created for SPD Captain Injured in Motorcycle Accident

A fundraiser has been created to assist a Captain with the Statesboro Police Department who was injured in a motorcycle accident this week.

The fundraiser to benefit Captain Kaleb Moore is organized by two Statesboro business owners through GoFundMe but will funnel through the Statesboro Police Officers Foundation, a 501(c3) nonprofit.

From the GoFundMe description:

Help us support one of our injured Police Officers – Captain Kaleb Moore. Captain Moore was seriously injured on-duty while riding his motor unit in Statesboro on March 17th, 2021. We are coming together as a community to show our support and help fund some of the incidental costs Captain Moore and his family will have while he is on the road to recovery.

All funds raised will be processed by the Statesboro Police Officers Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit helping to support Statesboro Police Officers, their families and the department.

Want to join us in making a difference? Any donation will help make an impact. Thank you in advance for your contribution to help an Officer in need.

Jeff Klare with Southern Chiropractic and Wellness Center and Nick Propps with Statesboro Properties have teamed up to administer this fundraiser and can be contacted with any questions.
