Narrative

INJURED/SICK PERSONUNASSIGNED1 On Thursday, April 23, 2026, at approximately 9:00 PM, I, Deputy Shannon with the BCSO, was dispatched to 1403 S. Wynn Rd. regarding a juvenile who had ingested a bottle of pills in an apparent attempt to harm herself. Upon arriving at the scene, I met with fire and EMS personnel. I spoke with the juvenile's mother, Ms. Leila Skinner, who informed me that her daughter had taken several Tylenol pills and that she has a history of mental health issues. Ms. Skinner mentioned that this was the second time in a week that her daughter had engaged in such behavior. I consulted with EMS, who stated they would transport the juvenile to East Georgia for evaluation. I then spoke directly with the juvenile, who revealed that she had taken approximately 73 Tylenol pills, expressing that she no longer wants to be here. EMS proceeded with the transport. End of report.

In 2013, a new law took effect in Georgia prohibiting commercial sites from charging fees to remove inaccurate mug shots. The law also barred law enforcement agencies from releasing mug shots to sites that charge a fee. As a result of the changes, a photo may be removed in some instances. To read the exemptions or to request removal from The Georgia Virtue, visit the ‘Contact‘ tab. Please read the full explanation before submitting a request for removal.
