Narrative

On 08/10/2026, at approximately 1940 hours, I was dispatched to a phone report in reference to two iPhones that were reportedly delivered but were not received by the intended recipient. I contacted the complainant by telephone, who identified herself as Shazaria Johnson. Ms. Johnson stated that on 08/06/2026, she ordered two iPhone 17E cellular phones through Straight Talk. She advised that one phone was white and the other was pink. Ms. Johnson resides at 2950 Rough Rider Road, Statesboro, Georgia. Ms. Johnson stated that on 08/08/2026, at approximately 2028 hours, she received a notification from UPS stating that the package containing the two phones had been delivered to her residence. Ms. Johnson advised that she was not home at the time of the reported delivery. On 08/09/2026, at approximately 2100 hours, Ms. Johnson returned home and discovered that the package was not at the residence and could not be located. Ms. Johnson stated that she lives at the residence with her mother and grandparents. According to Ms. Johnson, all three family members were home throughout the day on 08/08/2026. Ms. Johnson advised that her family members stated they did not observe a UPS delivery vehicle enter the property or observe a UPS employee make a delivery to the residence. Ms. Johnson stated that she contacted UPS to report that the package had not been received. Ms. Johnson advised that UPS informed her that she would need to obtain a police report before UPS would proceed with the non-delivery claim. Ms. Johnson further stated that she contacted Straight Talk regarding the missing phones and was given similar instructions to obtain a police report for documentation of the incident. Ms. Johnson was unable to provide the serial numbers or IMEI numbers for either phone at the time of this report. She advised that the combined purchase value of the two iPhones was approximately $1,160.00. At the time of this report, there was no known suspect or additional information identifying who may have taken possession of the phones. This report was completed at Ms. Johnson's request for documentation purposes and to assist her with the non-delivery claims through UPS and Straight Talk. I gathered the available information from Ms. Johnson and completed the report.

In 2013, a new law took effect in Georgia prohibiting commercial sites from charging fees to remove inaccurate mug shots. The law also barred law enforcement agencies from releasing mug shots to sites that charge a fee. As a result of the changes, a photo may be removed in some instances. To read the exemptions or to request removal from The Georgia Virtue, visit the ‘Contact‘ tab. Please read the full explanation before submitting a request for removal.
