On July 29, 2026, I, Sgt. K. Kelley, took a lobby report regarding the replacement of a lost vehicle tag. During my conversation with the complainant, Kimberly Coffman, she stated that the vehicle tag (GUE844) had been lost and that she could not find it. Mrs. Coffman expressed that she needed a report to obtain a new tag from the tag office.

ON THE TIME AND DATE OF THIS REPORT, I RESPONDED TO THE AREA OF HIGHPOINT RD AND HIGHPOINT CIRCLE IN REFERENCE TO AN ABANDONED VEHICLE. AT THE CONCLUSION OF THIS CALL, THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED DUE TO THE VEHICLE SITTING THERE FOR A WEEK.

In 2013, a new law took effect in Georgia prohibiting commercial sites from charging fees to remove inaccurate mug shots. The law also barred law enforcement agencies from releasing mug shots to sites that charge a fee. As a result of the changes, a photo may be removed in some instances.
