Narrative

DAMAGE TO PROPERTYUNASSIGNED On 06/15/2026 at approximately 0608 hours I, Deputy Barrick responded to 61 Broomstraw Trace Ellabell Ga in regards to Damage to Property. Upon Arrival I spoke with Julia Hickey. Julia stated that her son Kalen Roach had come over to her property and damaged her yard when he was leaving. While speaking with Julia I asked her if she would like to pursue charges against Kalen, Julia stated that she did not want to and simply wanted Kalen to come over and fix the yard and to also clean the side of her house off from mud splattering on it. Julia also stated that all of this is from an incident that occurred down in Florida. Julia also stated that she would no longer like that Kalen came back to her property. Julia also stated that she would like her trailer back form Kalen as well. Julia provided me with an address to where Kalen resided at which was 6 Broomstraw Trace Ellabell Ga. I then left Julia`s residence and went to Kalen`s residence to speak with him. Upon arrival at 6 Broomstraw Trace I was able to make contact with Kalen. Kalen stated that he did in fact go over to Julia`s residence because she had been constantly calling him since approximately 0500 hours this morning. Kalen stated that when she was not outside he had left the residence. Kalen stated he did not realize he tore up her yard while exiting the premises. Kalen stated he has been having issues with Julia for a very long time from receiving numerous amounts of phone calls as well as text messages. I the asked Kalen about a trailer Julia stated was hers. Kalen stated that no it was his trailer and has already told Julia to take him to court for it. I then explained to Kalen that Julia simply wanted to come back over to the residence to fix the yard and clean the side of Julia`s residence. Upon arrival to Julia`s residence I noticed that the side of the house was already cleaned off. Julia stated that her other son had sprayed off the side of the house so the mud wouldn`t harden and become hard to get off. Kalen then began to fix the yard. I then spoke with Julia privately about her issue with the trailer. I explained to Julia that the issue with the trailer is a civil matter issue and she would have to take Kalen to court. Both parties wanted each other served with Criminal Trespass from their properties. I then explained the CT process to both Juila and Kalen. Both parties were served CT from 61 Broomstraw Trace and 6 Broomstraw Trace Ellabell Ga. This report is for documentation.
