On 06/26/2026, at approximately 2228 hours, I stopped a white Chevrolet Malibu after observing it traveling 121 MPH while weaving through traffic on Interstate 16. The driver, Amani Tina Polk, showed signs of alcohol impairment, resisted arrest, and refused the state-administered blood test after being read Georgia Implied Consent. An open bottle of tequila was recovered from the vehicle. Polk was transported to the Bulloch County Jail without further incident.

ON SATURDAY, JUNE 27, 2026, I, CORPORAL FRENCH, RESPONDED TO 13355 HIGHWAY 67 IN STATESBORO, GEORGIA, IN REFERENCE TO A VERBAL ALTERCATION WITH THE POTENTIAL TO BECOME PHYSICAL.

On 06/27/2026, at approximately 2202 hours, I conducted a traffic stop on a black 2022 Mercedes-Benz SUV after observing it traveling 93 MPH on Interstate 16. A GCIC check revealed the driver, Letesha Dennard, was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver's license due to Failure to Appear. Dennard was placed under arrest without incident, and Doyles Wrecker Service towed the vehicle. Dennard was transported to the Bulloch County Jail and turned over to jail staff without further incident.

On 06/27/2026, at approximately 2157 hours, deputies responded to 4112 Nevils Groveland Road in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon investigation, all involved parties provided conflicting accounts of a physical altercation, and deputies observed minor injuries to Casie Hodges, Raymond Coursey, and Justin Privette. Due to the conflicting statements and the inability to determine a primary aggressor, a CRN was issued. All parties were advised of the magistrate court process and instructed to conduct future child exchanges at a neutral location.

THEFT BY DECEPTION - MISDEMEANOR16-8-3 (MISD) On June 28th, 2026 at approximately 2:33 PM, I spoke with a Ms. Zakia Sledge regarding a fraud complaint involving payment for tattoo services that were not rendered.

DUI- LESS SAFE- ALCOHOL40-6-391 (A)(1) On 06/28/2026 at 2127 hours, Deputies were dispatched to the Parker's gas station and convenience store located at 11012 US Highway 301 South in Statesboro, Bulloch County, Georgia, in reference to a male who appeared to be heavily intoxicated, trying to leave the store in a black truck. Deputies were able to make contact with the vehicle after it had left the store. A traffic stop was conducted due to observed traffic violations and it was determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Bulloch County Jail.

On 06/29/2026, at approximately 0036 hours, deputies responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Sinkhole Road. The driver, Anthony Roberts, admitted to consuming alcohol, displayed multiple signs of impairment, and refused both field sobriety tests and the requested state-administered blood test. Roberts was cited for DUI Less Safe (Alcohol), Too Fast for Conditions, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Seatbelt Violation before being released to EMS due to his injuries. Returned to patrol.
In 2013, a new law took effect in Georgia prohibiting commercial sites from charging fees to remove inaccurate mug shots.
