On 05/08/2026 at approximately 1203 hours, I responded to 119 Lockett Drive in reference to a financial transaction card fraud complaint, where Kathy Smith reported being scammed by an unknown individual posing as an IRS representative through a fraudulent email account. Ms. Smith sent multiple Bitcoin payments totaling approximately $981.03 before discovering the incident was a scam, at which time documentation of the communications and transactions was collected for investigative purposes.

On 05/09/2026, deputies made contact with Brantley Knight, who displayed signs of impairment including slurred speech, watery eyes, and the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Mr. Knight performed SFSTs and exhibited clues of impairment before refusing a PBT. Mr. Knight was arrested for DUI Under 21, and deputies located two Michelob Ultra cans and a fake ID inside the vehicle. Body worn camera footage was uploaded under BM 128453 and EM 128453.
