On Friday, May 15, 2026, at approximately 11:02 AM, I, Deputy Shannon with the BCSO, was dispatched to 2309 W. Camelia Dr., Statesboro, GA, in response to a report of criminal trespassing. The caller indicated that her ex husband was banging on the door while her son was home alone.

On the listed date and time I conducted a traffic stop on the listed vehicle for failure to maintain lane and following too closely. Upon making contact with the driver, it was determined that his class CP license was suspended for FTA. The driver was arrested and transported to the Bulloch County Jail for processing where he was issued a citation for the listed charge. A friend arrived to pick up the vehicle.

ON THE TIME AND DATE OF THIS REPORT, DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO THE AREA OF BROOKLET DEMARK AND MINCEY RD. IN REFERENCE TO THE COMPLAINANT STATING THAT HE WAS BEING CHASED BY A TRUCK WITH ITS LIGHTS OFF. AT THE CONCLUSION OF THIS INCIDENT. THE TWO MALES IN THE TRUCK THAT WERE CHASING THEM WERE ARRESTED.

On 05/17/2026, I responded to 304 Sterling Court in reference to a possible domestic dispute. Upon arrival, I made contact with Ms. Paige Powers, who appeared distraught. Ms. Paige Powers advised that she had recently been arrested and had been staying at the residence with her mother, Ms. Tina Powers. According to Ms. Paige Powers, Ms. Tina Powers had become upset regarding Ms. Paige Powers’ children being in the residence. Ms. Tina Powers advised that Ms. Paige Powers had been causing arguments and other issues within the residence. Ms. Tina Powers advised that she had changed the locks to the residence the previous day. Ms. Paige Powers advised that she no longer had access to the residence and wished to move her belongings on another day. Deputies advised Ms. Tina Powers regarding the eviction process and notified both parties that they could not unlawfully prevent one another from accessing their property while on scene. Ms. Paige Powers advised that she would be obtaining a ride from the residence and leaving the property voluntarily. No further incident occurred while deputies were on scene. This concludes my involvement.

SIMPLE BATTERY - FAMILY VIOLENCE16-5-23(F) On 05/18/2026, I, Deputy Brooks, took a report of a domestic incident that had occurred earlier that night at 6206 Carly Club Court.
In 2013, a new law took effect in Georgia prohibiting commercial sites from charging fees to remove inaccurate mug shots. The law also barred law enforcement agencies from releasing mug shots to sites that charge a fee. As a result of the changes, a photo may be removed in some instances.
