Enhanced Risk for Severe Weather in Southeast Georgia as Cold Front Approaches

These updates are as of 6:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024

A strong cold front will push through the Southeast U.S. Tuesday and Tuesday night. Ahead of the front, high winds, coastal flooding, dangerous marine conditions and severe thunderstorms will impact much of Southeast South Carolina and Southeast Georgia.

Windy conditions expected on Tuesday, along with possible severe thunderstorms with damaging winds and tornadoes.
