Statesboro’s First Friday Winterfest Slated for Feb. 2

Join Main Street Statesboro on Feb. 2, from 5-8 p.m. for the first First Friday event of the year! With different attractions catered to both adults and children, Winterfest will be the perfect event for the community to come together and enjoy a night of fun in downtown Statesboro!

Food will be available to buy from a variety of vendors along the street. Other vendors will offer the perfect opportunity to shop locally made and unique items. A s’mores station will provide a splendid sweet treat and activity for everyone! These stations will be equipped with fire pits and supplies to build the ideal s’more.

Vandy’s BBQ will feature live music performed by Dan Larkin and Friends, and Stephen Jones will be performing at Vino. Whether you want to try ax throwing with Boro the Hatchet or just shop around at your leisure, Winterfest will be the perfect way to start your weekend.

Admission to Winterfest is free and open to the public. Roads will be closed from 3-9:30 p.m. Road closings for the event are as follows: West Main St. to College St. and West Vine St. to Walnut St. Though the roads will be closed, shops will still be open and will remain open until later in the evening.

First Fridays are made possible by the support of our sponsors: American Roofing, Colony Bank, CORE Credit, East Ga Center for Oral & Facial Surgery, JC Lewis Ford, Georgia Power, Party Harbor, Party Impressions, Shoemaker Equipment Supply, Southern Chiropractor & Wellness Center, Statesboro Properties, Statesboro Oral Surgery, Statesboro Urgent Care, Tormenta FC, Vyve Broadband, and NECCO.
