Bulloch County Schools’ Pre-Kindergarten Registration opens online Feb. 24

Bulloch County Schools’ Pre-Kindergarten Registration for the 2025/2026 school year will begin online on Monday, February 24, and it will remain open throughout the upcoming school year. 

Demand for this quality early childhood education program may exceed space. To be included in the lottery drawings for available spaces, complete your child’s registration by 4 p.m., on Friday, March 14, at bullochschools.org/prekindergarten.

Need help or access to the internet to register? An in-person registration event will be held on Thursday, March 6, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the Bulloch County Board of Education’s boardroom, located at 150 Williams Road, in Statesboro. Guests may use entrance A. Families may also make an appointment with their zoned elementary school. Children do not need to be present to register.

Pre-K is the first step in your child’s K-12 education journey, so If you’re searching for a Pre-K program near you, in Statesboro and Bulloch County, Bulloch County Schools invites you to its 11 Pre-K sites with a combined 20 classrooms to serve up to 400 pre-school children. Its free, full-day (7:30 am-2:20 pm) Pre-K program follows the school district’s daily schedule and calendar.

Bus transportation is available. An optional paid afterschool care program with limited space is available on site until 6 p.m., at each elementary school through a community partnership with Bulloch County Parks & Recreation. Additional Pre-Kindergarten and afterschool programs are available at private childcare centers in the community.
