Bulloch Schools Encouraging Enrollment Online As Back to School Approaches

As families get ready for the new school year, Bulloch County Schools wants to welcome new and returning students and encourage you to make regular school attendance a good habit. It matters.

Register New students by July 27 to start August 1
New student registration remains open throughout the year; however, to ensure a child may start school on August 1, families should register students by Thursday, July 27. Families who register their child after this date, will likely experience a delay in when their child can start school. Families will be contacted once their child’s registration information has been verified and given a start date. Register new students now to avoid delays, and help faculty make sure everything is ready to serve your child.

Register Online Anytime

All registration occurs online. Families may register their child online at any time at www.bullochschools.org/registration or make a weekday appointment at their child’s school to use a registration kiosk. School offices are open during the summer if you need help or have questions. Online registration is super easy, convenient, and can be done from any device that has Internet. There are even guides to help you upload needed documents.

Help keep children safe
For your child’s safety, please do not drop off unregistered children at school or place them on a school bus. A custodial parent or guardian must always accompany an unregistered child to school.

My child is a returning student, do I need to register?
Parents of returning students are encouraged to complete the Annual Update via their Campus Parent Portal account to ensure that their child’s information is up-to-date for the upcoming school year. If you have moved residences and the new address is zoned for a different location, contact your child’s school for assistance. Information for returning students can be updated by completing the Annual Update via Campus Parent Portal. New registration is not required.

If your child is advancing from elementary to middle school or middle to high school within your current school zone’s feeder pattern schools, registration is not required.  Your child’s records will automatically be forwarded to their new feeder-pattern school.

Visit Bulloch County Schools’ Back-to-School Toolkit at www.bullochschools.org/backtoschool with more information for the new school year.  All of schools will host open houses on Thursday, July 27, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for elementary schools and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. for middle and high schools.  Some schools are hosting additional, separate open houses for families with children who will be entering pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, sixth grade or ninth grade.  Look for communications from your child’s school or visit their websites for more information about these events if applicable.
