SEGA Weekly Traffic Interruption Advisory – Feb 8-12, 2021

Georgia DOT continues essential road work throughout Southeast Georgia. As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue Monday, February 8 through Friday, February 12.

All work subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention and watch for workers

Lane closures are listed below by interstates and counties.

Interstate 16
I-16 Bulloch Co. to I-95 in Chatham Co.
Lane closures Monday – Sunday for slab repair/replacement
Between Milepost (MP) 126 and MP 142 from 6 am – 8 pm
Between MP 142 and MP 157 from 8 pm-6 am

I-16 East and West Bound CR 404
Lane shift to Repaint Bridge
Monday through Sunday 7 pm until 7 pm

SR 73 MP 104 – 105
Single Lane Closure for Maintenance of Bridge
Monday through Sunday 7 pm until 7 am

CR 584 East and West Bound
Single Lane Closure to repaint steel Structure of Bridge
Monday through Sunday 7 pm until 7 am

I-16/CR 582
Single Lane closure for Bridge Painting
Monday through Sunday 7 pm until 7 am

I-16 SR 57
Single Lane Closure for Bridge Rehabilitation project
Monday through Sunday 7 am until 7 pm

I-16 CR 204
Single Lane closure for Bridge Painting
Monday through Sunday 7 am until 7 pm and 7 pm until 7 am

I-16 CR 228
Single Lane Closure for Bridge painting
Monday through Sunday 7 am until 7 pm and 7 pm until 7 am

Single Lane Closure for Bridge painting

Spring Creek Bridge (CR 432) Stilson Leefield Rd to Rough Rider
Spring Creek Bridge closed for replacement until May
Traffic detoured via signed route

Chatham County
US 80 @ Jimmy Deloach Parkway intersection
Stagecoach Rd. to Cherry St.
Pacing Traffic Wed. and Thurs. 7pm to 4am bridge beam placement

CR 787 Islands Expressway Elba Island rd. to Oatland Island rd.
Double lane closure to Mobilize equipment and materials
Monday through Saturday 9 am until 3 pm.

US 17/SR 25 North End of Ogeechee River to I-516 Overpass
Single Lane closure Mill and inlay and saw cutting traffic loops
Monday through Sunday 7 pm until 6 am

Evans County
SR 169 Closed@ Cedar Creek Bridge replacement project
Located between Jim Sapp Rd. & Carters Bridge Rd.
Traffic detoured via SR 129, US 280 and SR 292

Glynn County
US 17/SR 25 Sidney Lanier Bridge over Brunswick River
Single Lane Closure for Bridge Rehabilitation Project
Monday through Sunday 6 am until 6 pm

Ware County
US 84/Plant Ave. resurfacing in Waycross
Lane closure from McDonald St. to Carswell Ave.
Weekdays 7 pm to 7 am Weekends 7am – 7 pm

Wayne County
US 341/SR 27 beginning at Bamboo street and extending to Cherry Street
Single Lane Closure for Pedestrian Crossing upgrades and installation of intersection video detection system
Monday through Friday 8:30 am until 3:30 pm
