The 2021 Brooklet Peanut Festival has been canceled.
The announcement was made by the Brooklet Community Development Association (BCDA) on Tuesday.
“Due to the continued spread of COVID-19, we have communicated regularly with local government agencies regarding options for the upcoming Peanut Festival. After careful consideration, it has been decided that the 32nd Annual Brooklet Peanut Festival originally scheduled for September 18, 2021 will be cancelled. Though we regret this course of action, the health, well-being, and safety of our sponsors, vendors, festival attendees, performers, and local community members who make our festival what is is year after year have always and will continue be our highest priority.
