Mr. Don E. Wilson

Statesboro, Georgia

Mr. Don E. Wilson, age 74, entered rest, early Saturday morning, March 23, 2024, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Harvey and Lee Bertha Love Wilson.

Mr. Wilson, a Bulloch County native, was a graduate of the William James High School class of 1967 and a graduate of Savannah State College (now university).

He retired from WEAS E93 Radio Station of Savannah, where he was a radio host for many years. He was a former employee of Sears.

Deacon Don E. Wilson was a dedicated member of the Rehovia Baptist Church, where he served as chairman of the deacon board.

He was avid outdoorsman.

Those left to cherish his memories are, his loving wife, Gloria Wilson, Statesboro, GA; a son, Don E. Wilson, Jr., Statesboro, GA; a brother Ricky (Sabrina) Wilson, Prince George, VA; sisters, Sandra (Larry) Parker and Felicia (Eric) Dunlap both of Atlanta, GA; 4 grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
His funeral plans are forthcoming.

Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
