Mr. Henry Ericson “Eric” Brannen, age 41, died on Thursday, December 28th 2023 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah. Eric was born on June 11th 1982 in Statesboro, GA. He was raised in Statesboro and Greenwood, SC where he attended Greenwood High School. Eric was a talented mechanic with a passion for working on and restoring cars. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Marvin Grimm. Eric is survived by his mother, Terri Grimm, his father, Robson Brannen Jr. (Norma), his brothers, Brandon Brannen (Ginger) and Glen A. Brannen, his nieces and nephews, Kennedy Marie Brannen, Charliegh Suzanne Brannen, Maximus Loid Brannen, Evie Clarabell Brannen, and Levin Steel Brannen, his aunt and uncles, Andy and Pam Morris, Linda and Gary Crosby, and Troy and Kay Brannen, as well as several cousins. The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 until 2:00 at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Elder Randy Waters and Pastor Jeremy Lindsey officiating. Interment will be at Lake Cemetery in Metter. Pallbearers will be Evan Hoffman, Bill Etters, Justin Daugherty, Russel Wren, Justin Deal, and Matt Daughtry. Honorary pallbearers will be his friends and brothers through New Beginnings in Christ.
