Mr. James Willie Campbell

Statesboro, Georgia Mr. James Willie Campbell, age 71, entered rest, Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center. James Willie Campbell was born on April 30th, 1952, in Bulloch County, Georgia to the late Willie and Elouise Campbell. He grew up in Statesboro and attended William James High School. As a child he enjoyed playing softball and sports. Many knew him as “Macaroni”. If you knew Roni he was always on the go, and you might see him at any given time somewhere riding in one of his trucks with his signature Ray Ban glasses and his gold chains. He was a self employed lawn care specialist. In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by sisters, Betty Jean Stanford, Janie Annette Reaves, and Louise Jenkins. He is survived by his daughter, Tamara Campbell, siblings, Barbara Ann Campbell, Walter (Bridgett) Campbell, and Wanda Campbell- Philyor; a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of life service for Mr. Campbell, will be held 11 am, Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the chapel of Hill’s Mortuary, Inc. Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
