Mr. Michael Wayne Bryant, age 54, died on Wednesday, November 22nd 2023 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. Michael was born on November 15th 1969 in Sumter, SC to Mr. Leo Bryant Sr. and Mrs. Judy C. Bryant. He worked in fire protection for many years and in maintenance with Claxton Poultry. Michael was known for being full of life and enjoyed fishing, sports, working on his cars, collecting antiques, and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Michael is survived by his wife, Melissa Bryant, his three sons, Michael Wayne “Zayne” Bryant II, Vandan Lee Bryant, and Logan Pierce Clark, his mother, Judy Bryant, his brother and sister-in-law, Leo and Allison Bryant, his sister, Denice Bryant, his niece and nephews, Lauren Bryant, Joshua Yoder, and Jordyn Yoder, and his two beloved dogs. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 25th 2023 at 8783 Old River Rd. North, Statesboro, GA 30461, starting at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be sent to 110 Beasley Rd. Statesboro, GA 30461.
