Mrs. Karen Love Palmer

Mrs. Karen Love-Palmer was born on October 1,1968, in Bulloch County, Georgia, to the late Marvin Love, and the late Gladys B. Love. Karen departed this earthly life on Monday, November 13, 2023, surrounded by her family. She received her public education in the Bulloch County School System and was a member of the Statesboro High School Class of 1987. She had a love for children, especially the students she taught during her early childcare teaching career. Karen was employed at an early age by Love’s Childcare Services, and then CSRA EOA Head Start in Bulloch County until her retirement after more than 20 years.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her husband of twenty-one years, Randy L. Palmer, Statesboro, Georgia; her brothers, Phillip E. Cone, LaMarvin Love, and Ronald (LaQuanda) Love all of Statesboro, Georgia; sisters-in law, Patricia Young (Semmie), Denise Palmer (Milton), Debra Lovett (Alton), Nancy Tutson (Darrell); brothers in-law, Emory Palmer, Christopher Palmer (Demetrice) and Ricky Palmer (Deidre); nieces, Shalondria Love and Chardena Love; nephew, Myles Love; two great nephews, Michael Hagins and Collin Love; two great nieces; Toni Love, and Azina Walker all of Statesboro, Georgia; three special aunts, Lorine Love of Statesboro, Georgia.; Fannie Knight and Alberta Bobbitt-Carter of Lyons, Georgia; two uncles, Gordan Mincey of Portal, Georgia and JC Washington of Savannah, Georgia, a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A viewing for Mrs. Palmer will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 4 pm to 7 pm, at Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.

The funeral service for Mrs. Karen Love-Palmer will be held at 11 am, on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Agape Worship Center, with the Elder Donald Chavers, Jr., officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bulloch Memorial Gardens.

Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
