Mrs. Loretta Mae McNeese, 67, died on Monday morning, February 5, 2024 at her home in Statesboro under the care of Regency SouthernCare Hospice.
Loretta was born on February 26, 1956 in Xenia, Ohio. After moving to Georgia and starting a new life, she met the love of her life, her husband Bobby, and from there they blended their families and became one. She and her husband made sure they raised their children in church and provided a loving, Christian home for them to grow up in.
Before the beginning of what became a long battle with illnesses over the past two decades, she was a very active and hard-working wife and mother. She held many occupations over her lifetime, however, she worked most of her healthy years as a secretary. She was the epitome of a selfless, loving person with a funny personality.
Loretta is preceded in death by her mother Arbutus Hollars, her father Chester Shrout, her father-in law Bobby P. McNeese, her daughter Penny Lynn Campbell, as well as four sisters and numerous loved ones.

McNeese; her two sisters Rosemary Sawyer and Nancy Taylor, her brother Ray Shrout; her sisters-in-law Lynn Clark(Joe) and Janice Lancaster(Jeff), her brother-in-law Michael McNeese(Patty); and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
