On Monday, April 19, 2021, Riverstone Construction will begin Initial paving of the Roundabout at the intersection of Kings Way and Frederica Road. This work is a SPLOST 2016 Intersection Improvements project. Paving will begin at 8:00 PM.

The work will include several lifts of pavement and the forming and pouring of the concrete splitter islands and the center island and truck apron. The work is to take place between the hours of 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM, for the next several weeks, until construction is complete. Paving will take place at night to limit motorist inconvenience and vehicle congestion during the day. At times, there will be one lane traffic through the work area with flagmen present directing traffic. Glynn County Police will also be on site to assist travelers through the work zone.

Access will be restricted in these areas during the project construction. Motorists, cyclist, and pedestrians should expect delays, and they are advised to avoid this location, when possible, and to use caution if travel is required near this area.
