10 Receive Pins in Veterinary Technology

The Veterinary Technology Program at Ogeechee Technical College held a pinning ceremony on April 18, 2024, in the auditorium of the Joseph E. Kennedy Building.

Taylor Rhymes-Wiedner, a 2024 graduate, welcomed the guests, and Ogeechee Tech’s Student Chapter of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (SCNAVTA) President, Juliana Cadle, lead the Challenge to Serve.

“These bright graduates have not only completed their rigorous academic curriculum, but have also demonstrated exceptional clinical skills and compassionate care throughout their training,” said Deidre Tillman, a Veterinary Technology instructor at OTC. “Their achievements symbolize the boundless potential within the field and serve as a testament to the power of perseverance and dedication. They will undoubtedly make a difference in the lives of animals and their human companions.”

The class took the Veterinary Technician’s Oath and each of the program’s ten graduates were individually recognized and presented with an Ogeechee Technical College Veterinary Technology pin.

The 2024 pin recipients are Avery Beasley, Bonnie Blackburn, Enyia Bostic, Hannah Etheridge, Bryn Green, Faith Jones, Michalla Jones, Maranda Martin, Taylor Rhymes-Weidner, and Madison Wooley.
