Ogeechee On The Go – 19 Units Collected At Red Cross Blood Drive

The Student Leadership Council at Ogeechee Technical College recently partnered with the American Red Cross of Southeast and Coastal Georgia to hold the fourth blood drive of 2022 on OTC’s campus.

The Red Cross set up in the Oak Room of the Jack Hill Building from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2 and collected 19 units of blood, one shy of their goal of 20.

In addition to the students from OTC’s Student Leadership Council were student volunteers from the Echocardiography program.

Since June of 2012 OTC has held 49 blood drives and has collected 1,622 units of blood.
