Rome High School Track Celebrates Senior Athletes

On Friday, April 16, Rome High School Track and Field honored their seniors with a special ceremony dedicated to recognizing these 16 outstanding athletes and their contributions to the program.

Before the Wolves’ meet at Barron Stadium, the class of 2021 seniors lined up at the end of the track prepared to make their way down the path, escorted by their family and friends.

The 16 track and field seniors are:

  • DeKerriya Daniel
  • Rene Escutia-Reyes
  • Jahlia Evans
  • Ebony Jackson
  • Connor Johnson
  • Jameion Leath
  • Matthew McKerrocher
  • Alden Morgan
  • Alec Morgan
  • Patrick Motes
  • Ewan Parker
  • Widman Ramirez-Calderon
  • Jay Wise
  • Ski Muldrew

“I am so proud of these 16 seniors for their commitment and dedication to the Rome High Track and Field program,” said Head Coach, Nick Bridges. “Every single one of these athletes gives it their all, whether that is at every single practice or at every single meet. I couldn’t be more proud of them for overcoming adversity and making this season one to remember.”
