A Chipotle Mexican Grill is set to open in Statesboro, Ga!
The company has secured 170 Brampton Avenue as their next location – next door to the Hampton Inn hotel.
Construction is set to begin May 3, 2021 with a completion date of June 25, 2021. No word on when it may open to the public, but we’ll bring you more updates as they become available.
Horizon Construction Company out of Alpharetta is the General Contractor and subcontractors will be bidding later this month.
Founded by Steve Ells 27 years ago, Chipotle had 16 restaurants (all in Colorado) when McDonald’s Corporation became a major investor in 1998. By the time McDonald’s fully divested itself from Chipotle in 2006, the chain had grown to over 500 locations.
The Chipotle chain started in 1993 and has since prided itself on being one of the first national restaurant brands to commit to goals on local and organic produce, being the first national restaurant brand to commit to using only responsibly raised meat with some of the highest animal welfare standards, and priding themselves on never adding hormones to their produce and meats.
