A special election will be held for Statesboro City Council in District 2 following the resignation of City Councilwoman Paulette Chavers.
Qualifying began Tuesday, August 18 and ended Thursday, August 20th at 4:30 p.m.
Day 1 – No candidates qualified
Day 2 – Kathleen Keehner,
Day 3 – Loletta Donaldson – Elliott, Maleek Jones
Qualifying hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
