Southeast Bulloch High School Agriculture Mechanics class students have been quite busy as they wrap up the school year.

Students in Ms. Gonzalez’s Ag Mechanics 1 class have been using their skills to design and build quality woodworking projects, including the swing featured here, Adirondack chairs, and corn hole boards.

Ag Mechanics is part of the National Future Farmers of America Association curriculum, which is the largest a student-led organization in the world. Students in FFA participate in many events throughout the year, including career development events and competitions with focus on livestock judging, ag mechanics, ag sales, lawnmower operations, meats evaluation, land judging, FFA quiz, and more.

At Southeast Bulloch, ag mechanics is part of the Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources pathway program.
