I Deputy Akers took custody of Gavin Habersham from the Georgia State Patrol at the Marathon gas station on Highway 301 North. THEFT BY TAKING - FIREARM16-8-2(6)(A) On June 21st, 2026, around 2059 hours, while working uniformed patrol in a marked unit, I, Deputy Kite, responded to 55 Tomazin Lane in reference to a theft by taking.

In 2013, a new law took effect in Georgia prohibiting commercial sites from charging fees to remove inaccurate mug shots. The law also barred law enforcement agencies from releasing mug shots to sites that charge a fee. As a result of the changes, a photo may be removed in some instances.
