[1:20 P.M.] Mill Creek Elementary Lockdown ended; Law enforcement have adult suspect in custody

From Bulloch County Schools:
The precautionary lockdown at Mill Creek Elementary School ended at 12:24 p.m. Students and employees continue to be safe and school will continue as normal.

We appreciate the support of local law enforcement, who have the adult suspect in custody. Thank you as well for the cooperation of employees and parents.

An adult, who was not at the school, made a terroristic threat against a Mill Creek Elementary School employee. The incident was immediately reported to the Statesboro Police Department who continues to have charge of the investigation.
