3 Arrested in Paulding County Triple Murder

(Paulding County, GA) Deputies and US Marshals make additional arrests in a triple murder that occurred during the overnight hours of March 21, 2022 in western Paulding County.  As a result of these two additional arrests, three people are in custody for this heinous crime.  

At approximately 10:49 PM on March 21, 2022, Paulding E-911 was contacted by one of the residents of 251 Chesapeake Way Rockmart, GA 30153 (Sunset Mountain Subdivision) indicating that there was a triple shooting that had just occurred. The complainant advised that two men came to the home and met with the three male victims. As a result of their investigation, Detectives have determined that it appears as if the two men came to the Chesapeake Way home in order to rob the three victims.  In the midst of the robbery, the three victims were shot.  Initially, one of the victims succumbed to his injuries on scene, the second passed away a few hours later at the hospital, and the third victim passed away several days later at the hospital as a result of his injuries.  The victims in this triple murder are listed below:

-Clinton Matthew Aiola (W/M, 42 YOA) of Rockmart, GA (Paulding County)

-Cody Daniel Fuller (W/M, 30 YOA) of Dallas, GA (Paulding County)

-Davauntee Anthony Ramsay (B/M, 30 YOA) of Rockmart, GA (Paulding County)

Deputies with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office and Deputy United States Marshals with the US Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force (SERFT) arrested one of the suspects in this case on March 24, 2022.  Paulding Deputies and Deputy US Marshals arrested Carlos Favors-Battle (B/M, 26 YOA) in Douglasville, GA (Douglas County) where he resides. He is currently being held in the Paulding County Jail without bond.

Deputies and Deputy US Marshals arrested two other individuals in this case as well.  On April 1, 2022, Bridgette Skye Jones (W/F, 28 YOA) was arrested by Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office without incident.  Jones was subsequently transported to the Paulding County Jail.  It must be noted that Jones was in the area of the murder scene when the crime occurred and had direct knowledge of the incident. 

On April 6, 2022, US Marshals arrested Justin Quartez Sims (B/M, 29 YOA) in Rome, Georgia without incident.  Sims was subsequently transported to the Paulding County Jail as well.  Detectives have determined that Sims was the other individual that accompanied Favors-Battle into the home when the murder occurred. 

The three suspects are charged with the below listed offenses.  It must be noted that all three are being held in the Paulding County Jail without bond.

It is also very likely that additional charges could be taken against all three suspects in this case.
